Position Description:  Inventory Control Clerk

The Inventory Supply Clerk plays an important role in our Supply Chain by receiving, storing and issuing materials required to build Nomad products.  Working under the direct supervision of the Inventory Control Lead, our team member fulfills parts requisitions for the Fabrication, Paint, Production, and IT departments with an emphasis on accuracy and speed of delivery.  While this is not an entry-level position, some training is expected to be required to assure successful completion of all assigned duties.  The major duties and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

·         Physical receipt of purchased goods

·         Receiving Inspection of purchased goods

·         Electronic receipt of purchased goods

·         Put away

·         Kitting and inventory transactions for issuance of parts to Production

·         Unloading of a variety of materials from trucks using pallet jack and forklift

·         Cycle counting of inventory

·         Maintaining floor stock inventory

·         Working directly with Buyers to resolve receiving/PO issues

·         Other duties as assigned by IC Lead or Supply Chain Manager


·         Computer literacy, with MS Office preferred

·         ERP or MRP experience (E2 preferred))

·         Firm understanding of warehouse management and inventory control processes

·         1-2 years experience in warehouse operations

·         The ability to carry out tasks with minimal supervision

·         Strong customer focus

·         Frequently moves or lifts products and parts ranging from 5 to 100 pounds.

·         Current forklift license or the ability to qualify within 14 days of employment


·         Maintain data input errors below 1%

·         Maintain inventory accuracy at or above 98%

·         No receiving carryovers

·         All received goods in location by end of day

·         All floor stock locations serviced daily/weekly

·         Min/Max stocks checked daily

·         Maintain outstanding relations with Production Leads

·         Develop and maintain outstanding relations with Purchasing

·         All inventory locations keep clean and orderly

Schedule is Monday – Friday 8:30 to 5:00
