 The Senior Web Applications Developer works in a rapid prototype environment supporting Nomad’s continuous development of proprietary technologies. The position requires the application of independent thinking to develop and test solutions related to centralized control operating tools. Also creates user information solutions by developing, implementing, and maintaining Internet/intranet applications; leading a team of developers. 

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

· Defines objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

· Designs and develops user interfaces to Internet/intranet applications by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle; determining design methodologies and tool sets; completing programming using languages and software products; designing and conducting tests.

· Recommends system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development and purchase alternatives.

· Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.

· Creates multimedia applications by using authoring tools.

Position:  Electrical Engineering Assistant - Engineering
Schedule:   Full-Time
Reports To:  Electrical Engineer / Head of Engineering

The Electrical Engineering Assistant will assist electrical engineers in such activities as electrical power distribution, control and instrumentation design. They will prepare drawings and layouts of electrical distribution system and control systems, construction of prototypes, troubleshooting and repair of existing systems, participate in product and reliability evaluation and research. 

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

Nomad’s Electrical Engineering Assistant needs to have the ambitions to grow their knowledge constantly to move into the Electrical Engineer’s position as the company continues to grow and needs more electrical support. 

Design

· Diagnose, test, or analyze the performance of electrical components, assemblies, or systems. 

· Review electrical engineering plans to ensure adherence to design specifications and compliance with applicable standards and codes. 

· Assist in design of electrical equipment and systems. 

CAD/Documentation

· Create or modify electrical drawings, schematics and documentation using CAD and other software programs. 

· Analyze operational data to evaluate operations, products, and designs to ensure quality. 

· Compile and maintain records documenting engineering schematics, installed equipment, installation or operational problems, resources used, repairs, or corrective action performed. 

· Review, develop, and prepare maintenance and manufacturing standards.

Test/Reliability

· Set up and operate standard or specialized test equipment.

· Review installation or quality assurance documentation. 

· Test products, devices and materials for their applicability for designated applications.

Prototyping/Manufacturing Support

· Create and evaluate physical models or prototypes.

Engineering Support

· Knowledge to be able to operate a variety of current tools to include, but not limit to: capacitance meters, electronic measuring probes, frequency analyzers and counters, microcontrollers, multi-meters, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, personal computers, plotter/printers, power meters, signal generators, soldering iron, voltage or current meters, crimpers, hand tools, data-loggers. 

Physical Demands: 

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or operate objects, tools or controls. 

· The employee is required to be able to sit for the majority of their work day.

· The employee must also be able to talk and hear.

· The employee will be required to intermittently work with Production and therefore must be able to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.

Working Environment:

· The work environment is a controlled indoor environment with occasional exposure to the manufacturing/production floor. Safety equipment such as safety glasses, ear protection, etc. must be worn when entering the Production floor at all times.

The purpose of the Supply Chain Assistant position is to support the Supply Chain Department with the following tasks and administrative activities. 

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

· Promote and participate in a safe working environment. 

· Research and communicate status of orders to organization members.

· Update electronic records. 

· Track shipments and document records.

· Link the Purchasing Department with other internal departments. 

· Assist the Finance Department in pricing discrepancies.

· Maintain verbal and written communication with internal and external customers regarding orders via e-mail, telephone and in person. 

· Maintain ERP database reliability.

· Update part master files when changes are authorized.

· Maintain records retention using electronic and hardcopy filing systems.

· Perform data entry, faxing, scanning, telephone conversations, and other duties as requested, clerical and non-clerical.

This is a hands-on role to safely provide quality electrical knowledge and skills to build projects that meet customer and Nomad specifications. To install, test and quality assure the 12V and 120V systems within projects. Evaluate and continuously improve electrical processes, in Nomad while maintaining consistent use of existing ones.

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

  • Splicing wires and soldering connections to fixtures and equipment.
  • Diagnosing or repairing problems with electrical equipment, such as lights, relays, battery isolators, generators sound, navigation, communication, security equipment, and leveling systems in motor vehicles.
  • Installing equipment and accessories such as stereos, navigation equipment, communication equipment, and security systems.
  • Running wires and cables for AC and DC systems, controls, and various electronic appliances.
  • Cutting openings and drilling holes for fixtures and equipment, using electric drills, air saws, and multi-tools.
  • Replace electrical or electronic components.
  • Build wooden enclosures and carpeted wall panels to custom fit vehicle dimensions.
  • Ability to be cross-trained in areas including, but not limited to, flooring installation, plumbing, door, and window installation, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding, and I.T. integration.
  • Additional duties as needed by supervisor.

Basic Knowledge Desired:

Working Environment:

  • Partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending on the time of year, working temperature can fluctuate between 60F and 100F, but typically held at 70F.

  • Team Member must have the ability to work from heights of the ground floor to 20’ above ground on ladders, man lifts, and various other platforms.

Welders/Fabricators will utilize the necessary skills and procedures to construct items used in the production of specialized communication units produced by Nomad GCS. 


Essential Functions / Responsibility:
· Fabricate and weld metal and/or aluminum by applying the appropriate welding techniques. 

· Must maintain a good proficiency rate, avoiding any rework. Complete extra training to achieve a higher level of skill and accuracy. 

· Requires the ability to weld both metal and aluminum using MIG, TIG, spool gun, and push-pull. 

· Strong points would be in fabrication concepts, practices, and procedures within the welding field. 

· Relies on experience and judgment to accomplish goals. 

· Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. 

· May be cross-trained to work on a variety of processes including, but not limited to: flooring installation, electrical systems, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding and technology integration.

Basic Knowledge Desired:

· 1-5+ years of experience of interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics and determining appropriate welding process. 

· 1-5+ years of experience and knowledge of MIG, TIG, spool gun, or push-pull welding applications. 

· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. 

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods. 

· Basic knowledge of the Metric and Imperial Measurement Systems, and how to calculate with them.

Physical Demands:
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (unassisted) safely on a regular basis. 

· The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear and is occasionally required to sit. 

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish colors. 

· Must be able to wear the proper protection equipment all day while working.
 

Working Environment:
· The current work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, working temperature can fluctuate between 60F and 100F, but typically is held around 70F.

· The Employee must have the ability to work from heights at ground floor up to 20’ from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.

· The Employee will be subjected to noise levels which may range from moderately loud to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time. 

· The Employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals daily which will require the Employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that chemical’s MSDS.

· Welding helmet and proper preventative safety attire are required at all times while welding. 

· All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times on the Production Floor

· Position requires physical stamina necessary to work in awkward positions, standing up for long periods of time, bending, stooping, and lifting.
 

Qualifications & Experience:
· High School Graduate, Diploma or GED received. Further education or an apprenticeship desired. 

· 1-5+ years of previous welding and metal fabrication experience. 

· Good math skills including understanding numerical data and taking accurate measurements. 

· Must have valuable clear vision, being able to see details at close range of self. 

· Required knowledge and experience with: Interpreting blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics, determining appropriate welding process, MIG, TIG, spool gun, push-pull welding applications.

Technicians will represent the organization through their craftsmanship, leadership, and efficiency; must be hardworking, self-motivated, good at multitasking, have a cooperative attitude, reliable, responsible, dependable, honest, skilled and timely in their assigned processes, safe and have the ability to deal effectively in a fast-paced work environment. The Production Technician is critical to Nomad’s success in providing quality products to our customers in a timely fashion. 

Essential Functions / Responsibility:

· Already has 2 years of experience in working within one or more of the following areas:

    o Cabinet or Countertop Construction

    o General construction

    o Finish carpentry

    o Working with CAD layouts

    o Cabling management (low voltage)

    o 120VAC or 12VDC electrical

    o Security or Surveillance Systems

    o Welding/cutting (steel & aluminum) – MIG or TIG

    o Data Networking

    o Business Phone System Installation & Programming

    o HVAC

    o General Plumbing (use of PVC, PEX, etc.)

    o General hydraulics

· Creation and adaption’s of process sheets, kits, and other components for the Lean process.

· Operate a wide variety of testing equipment to include: electrical multimeters, LP leak detectors, high/low voltage metering and pressure/vacuum testing.

· Will be cross-trained to work on a variety of processes including, but not limited to: flooring installation, electrical systems, plumbing, door and window installation, stabilizing systems, HVAC, cabinet and countertop making, welding and technology integration.

· Additional duties on an as-needed basis assigned by management. 

Basic Knowledge Desired:

· Understands the significance of the Nomad Core Values and display a demonstrated willingness to apply them to your work.

· Complete knowledge and understanding of the process timeline for the standard vehicles constructed (Dispatch, Responder, and IC’s). Ship Technicians must also be active in working with management in adapting current timelines to increase productivity and safety within the shop.

· Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

· Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans, drawings and models.

· Knowledge in ability to operate a variety of current standard shop tools to include, but not limited to: corded/cordless drills/drivers/hammer drill, drill press, corded/cordless saws (table, skill, reciprocating, jig, compound miter, radial, band, cut off), grinders, orbit sanders, pneumatic tools (finish nailer, roofing nailer, stapler, impact wrenches, compressors), a wide variety of hand tools (screw drivers, wrenches (box, combination, adjustable, etc.), pliers (needle nose, linesmen, slip joint, strippers/cutters, terminal connectors), bolt cutters, diagonal cutters, alan keys, socket/driver sets, rulers (metric, standard, carpenter style measuring tapes, protractor/angle finders), stud finders, levels, squares, utility knifes, hammers, wrecking bars, bench vises, clamps, punches, files, putty knives, battery charges/testers, multimeters, rivet guns (air/hand), cable tie guns), cutting tools (drill bits, hole saws), wet/dry vacuum cleaners, etc. 

Physical Demands:

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or operate objects, tools or controls.

· Frequently required to stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear and is occasionally required to sit. 

· Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60lbs unassisted.

· Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to distinguish colors. 

Working Environment:

· The current work environment is a partially environmentally controlled indoor environment. Depending upon the time of year, working temperature can fluctuate between 60F and 100F, but typically is held around 70F.

· The Employee must have the ability to work from heights at ground floor up to 20’ from the ground on ladders or platforms of varying sizes.

· The Employee will be subjected to noise levels which may range from moderately loud to loud and will be required to wear provided safety hearing devices from time to time. 

· The Employee will be exposed to a variety of household/commercial chemicals daily which will require the Employee to follow company rules/regulations outlined by that chemical’s MSDS. 

· All Team Members must wear provided OSHA approved eye protection at all times on the Production Floor.

· PPE – The employee will be required to wear provided safety eyewear throughout the performance of their duties. In some cases (painting, insulating, undercoating, etc.) and the team member may be required to wear a respirator. No team member is to perform the duties requiring a respirator until they have successfully complied with the Respiratory Protection Program. 

Qualifications & Experience: 

· High School Graduate, Diploma or GED received. 

· Prefer a minimum of 2 years documented experience working with one or more of the bullet point topics on page 1 under Essential Functions/Responsibility, bullet point three. 

· Valid driver’s license in good standing.
