The purpose of the Facilities/Maintenance position is to keep Nomad’s Facilities in clean and orderly condition. Nomad’s Facilities should at all times be in the condition that would be expected if customers were to walk through the door. Because our goal is to keep a clean and orderly environment for all of our Team Members and our customers, we must strive for excellence. By having clean Facilities, we are able to encourage an upbeat and positive atmosphere, which is where productivity thrives. Therefore, the purpose of the Facilities/Maintenance position is to create the previously described environment by assuring clean Facilities, striving for excellence, and exceeding expectations in all areas.

Daily Tasks:
• Vacuum
• Bathroom Cleaning
• Checking Status of Cleaning Supplies
• Miscellaneous Tasks for Other Team Members
• Other Projects as Assigned

Weekly Tasks:
• Deep Cleaning Bathrooms/Break rooms
• Gather and Empty Trash
• Dusting
• Mopping
• Some Seasonal Jobs
• Inventory supplies for Production break room
• Other Projects as Assigned

Monthly Tasks:  
• Glass (Window) Cleaning – Every 3 Months
• Other Projects as Assigned
• Basic Shop Maintenance (Fans, Heaters, Garage Doors, Etc.)
• Compliance checks – eye wash stations, fire extinguishers, etc.  

As Needed:  
• Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, or parking areas, using snowplows, snow blowers, or snow shovels or spread snow/ice melting chemicals.  
• Mowing grassy areas around the building.
• Fixing Basic Appliances upon breaking.
• Other Projects as Assigned

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Facilities/Maintenance team member must be able to perform the following duties.    

• Must be able to efficiently and correctly complete their assigned duties with little to no supervision.   
• Must fully adhere to the safety requirements of the shop as well as being an ever-present example of all safety standards that have been established by Nomad.  They must also be active within the daily implementation of the shop’s safety standards, ensuring that all other personnel are adhering to the guidelines as well as working with management and their teams to create a safer shop environment.  
• Must have an active role within the implementation and adherence of established cleanliness guidelines of the entire organization.  
• Must learn the daily requirements of working within a team environment (safety, cleanliness, timeliness, honesty, integrity, teamwork) and assist in strengthening the team in both an adherence of these principles as well as individual growth within these areas.
• Must be willing to work with others in a peaceful and efficient manner.
• Must be willing and able to work odd hours as needed.
• Must abide by all of Nomad’s Policies and Procedures.
• Must be willing to perform additional duties and tasks as assigned by supervisor. 

Schedule is 20 - 25 hours per week

Wage is $12.00 per hour
Location: Columbia Falls, MT
Under the supervision of the Finance Manager and/or Accounting Assistant-AP this position performs a variety of lower level accounting functions including, but not limited to preparing and posting entry level vendor or customer invoices when all of the supporting documentation has been received and compiled, processing payments to vendors or payments received from customers, and maintaining positive, high quality vendor/customer relations.

This position will also assist with the maintenance of vendor and customer accounts, lower level accounting tasks with monthly and quarterly closing, payroll and payroll reporting, A/P processing including posting invoices, and processing payments by check, electronic transfers or credit cards, A/R processing including billing and collection, and providing supporting documentation for fixed assets classification and depreciation, in accordance with generally-accepted accounting principles.
Provides backup documentation for the analysis and preparation of financial documentation, including balance sheets and statements of financial position.  Other general accounting duties will be assigned when appropriate.  Must exhibit willingness to learn and be cross trained in other various accounting functions. Must be a self-starter, flexible, and able to proactively take on new and varied responsibilities.  Ability to effectively work across all functional and management teams in a positive, professional and results-oriented manner.  

Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation of financial reports by using A/P and A/R information from the general ledger system.
• Assist with the compilation of financial information to prepare entries to accounts in the general and subsidiary ledgers
• Assist in month-end close related A/P and A/R reconciliations to general ledger.
• Performs and/or assists with specific A/P, A/R or payroll processes in the absence of key staff members.
• Assist with establishing, modifying, documenting, and coordinating implementation of general accounting and accounting control procedures.
• Assist with general accounting support to business organizations and with the preparation of selected work papers for various audits and reviews.
• Maintain general accounting data related to project costs in E2 or other MRP/ERP system utilized by organization, including project labor, overhead and materials reconciliations.
• Performs other duties, activities, and special projects as required.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Basic accounting, cash handling, control procedures, invoicing, documentation, record keeping and computer concepts.
• Prefer minimum of AA in Accounting or related field or
• An equivalent combination of education and experience which provides proficiency in the areas of responsibility listed in this description may be substituted for the above requirements.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Wage is $13.50 per hour

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.  

Full time, permanent position, qualifies for full benefits package including group health insurance, paid holidays, PTO, and 401(k).  



Location: Columbia Falls, MT
The PROCESS SPECIALIST carries the primary focus of establishing processes and systems to ensure that the Production work flow is balanced and meets the TAKT and budgetary requirements for each Program.  This position will also be responsible for creating measurable metrics that will be directly used in the creation of a potential profit sharing program.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:  

Leadership:
This position will be part of a focused Special Operations Team.  Due to the high expectations on this team, it is critical that this person provides inspirational leadership, teamwork and daily excellence to deliver organizational goals and objectives, originally and specifically related to the creation and running of an exciting new Program, but applicable to other subsequent Programs. Building organizational bridges across functional teams through positive, well communicated, professional and results-oriented strategies will be requisite to achieving success.  

STRATEGIC PLANNING:
• Responsible for establishing the Program’s processes and measurement tools needed for the successful and profitable production TAKT of one (1) trailer per week within the first 6 months, up to two (2) per week by the end of the first year and up to six (6) per week thereafter.
• Responsible for creating and rebalancing work flow, without significant disruptions to flow or efficiencies, as efficiencies and TAKT increase throughout Program’s life.
• Work with Team, including Finance Department, to ensure Program is managed within budgets.  
• Create Dashboards for weekly (minimum) reporting to Team of key metrics (ie. Line’s output, DL/IDL hours, COGS, quality, efficiency gains).  
• Use data to establish and measure profit sharing incentive’s program, as developed by Special Operations Team.

TACTICAL EXECUTION:
• Use the strategic/planning tools developed above to meet the Company’s overall priorities and goals.  
• Assessing Program’s progress and determining when skill sets and efforts of this position would have a better return for Nomad if they were also used to improve areas outside of the Program.

RELATIONSHIPS: 
• Report directly to the Special Operations Team Manager.
• Works hand-in-hand with other members of the Special OPS Team.
• Works with Production techs to balance work flow and clearly communicate TAKT requirements.
• Works with Finance to ensure actual and budgetary results are consistent, accurate and timely.
• Works with Supply Chain to ensure flow of parts are efficient and timely.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Manufacturing environment, work station may be located in an open area within the plant.  
• Temperature inside the building may fluctuate depending on the outside temperature.  

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Ability to spend the majority of the day walking at a fast pace throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Ability to climb inside the units, under the units, and often times on top of the units for inspection purposes.
• Ability and willingness to utilize all PPE required to perform duties safely.  

REQUIREMENTS:
• Documented and verifiable past work experience equivalent to an Associates Degree in process control, supply chain, business, finance, engineering, industrial engineering, or other related courses of study preferred. BA/BS preferred.
• Demonstrated strong leadership skills and team-building.
• 3+ years of process controls and/or process cost controls experience strongly desired.
• Excellent PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications and custom purchasing/production (ERP) databases.  
• Excellent math skills.  Ability to make real-world decisions based upon data/calculations.
• Working knowledge in project scheduling, work flow and work balancing.
• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred.

This position carries the primary focus of establishing and then maintaining a new Production assembly line, including all feeder subassembly cells, to ensure that the Line’s workflows consistently and safely meets the TAKT and profitability goals of the Company.  

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

This position will be part of a focused Special Operations Team.  Due to the high expectations on this team, it is critical that this person provides inspirational leadership, teamwork and daily excellence to deliver organizational goals and objectives, originally and specifically related to the creation and running of an exciting new Program, but applicable to other subsequent Programs.  Building organizational bridges across functional teams through positive, well communicated, professional and results-oriented strategies will be requisite to achieving success.  

Strategic/Planning:
• Responsible for establishing the Program’s Production assembly line layout needed for the successful and profitable production TAKT of one (1) trailer per week within the first 6 months, up to two (2) per week by the end of the first year and up to six (6) per week thereafter.
• Responsible for creating and then reworking the Line’s layout, without significant disruptions to flow or efficiencies, as efficiencies and TAKT increase throughout Program’s life.
• Responsible for creating an effective and efficient flow for incoming raw parts, parts storage and delivery to both subassembly and Line Station locations, as well as the movement of completed subassemblies to their next in-process staging.
• Responsible for the safe storage of all parts.
• Responsible for the creation, and sometimes building, of jigs and fixtures needed by the Line to ensure TAKT, budgeted per-unit hours and quality are met.
• Continuously improve build processes and flow to improve efficiencies.
• Work with Team, especially the Process Specialist position, to ensure balanced process flow and scheduled TAKT are met.
• Clearly articulate and illustrate build needs to FAB and Assembly for construction of needed jigs, fixtures and other constructions required for build-out of Line.
• Identify all tooling and equipment needs.  Complete ROI analyses to justify purchases.

Tactical Execution:

• Demonstrated strong leadership skills and team-building.
• Excellent PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.  Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.  
• Excellent math skills.
• Working knowledge in Production workflow layouts.
• Ability to read CAD drawings.
• Knowledge of Lean and/or Six Sigma preferred.
